The latest step in the NFL Draft process is now over, as the Combine wrapped up in Indianapolis earlier this week.

With all the 40s run, interviews conducted and Wonderlics completed, it also means a new round of mock drafts to be released.

Todd McShay of ESPN released his third mock of the season Wednesday morning, and has the Arizona Cardinals getting their quarterback — UCLA’s Josh Rosen — with the 15th overall pick.

Arizona is tough to predict right now, because of what the Cardinals might do in free agency. If they sign a QB like Keenum, Teddy Bridgewater or another veteran, the Cardinals could go in another direction. If they don’t address the position in free agency, I’m assuming they will trade up for a QB. They would love to get Allen or Darnold, but can they move up that far? If not, I think they try to move up 5-8 spots for Rosen or Mayfield. We can’t project trades, so in this scenario they grab Rosen at No. 15.

McShay’s last mock draft, which hit the internet on Feb. 6, had the Cardinals selecting Oklahoma offensive tackle Orlando Brown and had Rosen being selected with the second pick by the New York Giants. Much has changed in the evaluation process since then, apparently. Brown had a disastrous showing at the Combine and has fallen completely out of McShay’s first-round projection, while Rosen has fallen 13 spots as the fourth quarterback off the board.

In three years at UCLA, Rosen completed nearly 61 percent of his passes for 9.340 yards with 59 touchdowns and 26 interceptions. His best season came in 2017, when he threw for 3,756 yards with 26 touchdowns and 10 picks for a Bruins team that went 6-7 overall.

In Indianapolis, Rosen performed well. Peter King of The MMQB wrote that Rosen helped himself immensely during the process, especially in the interview rooms with NFL front office personnel.
