The Coyotes have cancelled an emergency recall of second-year forward Dylan Strome.
Strome, who was an AHL All-Star earlier this season, will return to the Tucson Roadrunners as they prepare for an AHL playoff run.
Strome was called up to the Coyotes in emergency fashion after center Laurent Dauphin suffered a lower-body injury against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. Despite the recall, Strome was not expected to play on Sunday against Vancouver.
Updated status per Coyotes: Center Laurent Dauphin (lower body) is out indefinitely.

Drafted third overall by the Coyotes in 2015, Strome has registered 22-27-49 along with 24 penalty minutes in 44 games in his first season for the Roadrunners.
He currently ranks 13th in the league for goals, nine of which have come on power-plays and three for game-winners. He ranks second among rookies in total goals scored and points, fourth among first-year players in assists and ninth overall in the AHL in scoring.
