If you are a Phoenix Suns fan and your team is out of the playoffs who do you root for?

There are many reasons why people may root — or secretly cheer — for teams other than their favorite team.

A player from the Suns, like Steve Nash, has the possibility of having quite a few former teammates and/or coaches playing in the playoffs.

Earlier today though, Nash decided to let his Twitter followers know that he would be pulling for the New York Knicks in their game against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.

With Amare Stoudemire now wearing the blue and orange of New York and their coach being the guy who brought the style of play that Nash thrived in, one can see why Nash would be pulling for the Knicks.
