Goran Dragic misses Phoenix and fans

Many Phoenix Suns fans miss Goran Dragic and apparently the Slovenian point guard misses them too.

Early on Thursday Dragic joined the world of Twitter and let his desert dwelling fans know just how much he appreciated their support and missed the team and the city.

Suns fans thank you for following me. I miss Phoenix and I wish the team best of luckless than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

When Dragic was traded in February to the Houston Rockets along with a first round draft pick for point guard Aaron Brooks many fans were outraged by the deal. They were proven right by the play of both for their new teams.

While Brooks struggled to find a rhythm and role with the Suns towards the end of the year, Dragic blossomed for the Rockets. As a starter in the final four games of the season he showed the potential that excited those in Phoenix so much. He averaged 14 points, 6.75 assists and 8 rebounds in those games.

Overall both had very pedestrian seasons with their new teams. Dragic averaged 7.7 points, 2.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds a game while Brooks averaged 9.6 points, 4.5 assists and 1.1 rebounds.

With Brooks being a restricted free agent this offseason and question marks remaining about how well he fits with the Suns, fans miss Dragic all that much more. His tweet just drove home that point.
