Former Phoenix Sun is getting a reality show

The Matrix will soon be coming to a television screen near you.

We’re not referring to the movie that you’ve watched on TNT more times than you’ve seen some members of your family. No, we’re talking former Phoenix Sun, and current Dallas Maverick, forward Shawn Marion.

According to TMZ, the former Phoenix fan favorite is filming a reality show called “The Ladies in my Life.”

Dallas Mavericks star Shawn Marion is gonna be busy next month — because we’re told, he’s shooting a pilot for a reality TV show … right around the same time the Mavs crush Miami in the NBA finals (if there is a God).

It’s tentatively called “The Ladies in My Life” — and big surprise … it’s all about Shawn and the important women in his day-to-day … including his mom, sisters and publicist.

We’re not sure about you, but we’re looking forward to this show. Not because the premise is revolutionary or because we always wanted a sneak peek into Marion’s life, but because of this little tidbit.

Marion’s twin sister Shawnett, who is 6-feet tall and can slam a basketball, will be part of the show. We know Shawn can block Kevin Durrant in crunch time, but can he stop his sister from posterizing him? That is a question we’d love to find out the answer to.

That and we’ll get to see what kind of a mansion all that money the Suns gave him over the years bought.
