It’s important for any sports team at every level to have chemistry among players in order to be successful. That includes the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals began the first phase of their offseason program under new head coach Steve Wilks this week, with players returning to the team’s facility in Tempe for weight room and field work.
The start of workouts presents players with the opportunity to bond for the first time since the end of the season in January.
But Cardinals defensive end Chandler Jones and running back David Johnson had another idea for a team bonding exercise.

Jones, Johnson and other members of the Cardinals’ organization traded the helmets and shoulder pads for masks and paintball guns.
The group enjoyed a little friendly competition at the American Paintball Coliseum in Phoenix, an indoor paintball field that also offers laser tag and airsoft as team building exercises.
The group showed their competitive nature in the video posted by the Cardinals Twitter account, taking cover behind various objects on the field.

It wasn’t immediately clear who won the group’s paintball outing, but one thing was clear from Johnson.
If he happened to get hit by the paintball, he probably wouldn’t feel it.
