Jared Dudley: Smart man, knows a lockout is likely

With every tweet Jared Dudley shows he not only has personality, but a good grasp on how things work.
Friday, the Suns’ player rep said he left a NBA/Player meeting pleased that NBA Commissioner David Stern is willing to negotiate, but holds an understanding that basketball will probably go away shortly.
Realistically the very well could be a lock out on June 30th.. This will be a process on getting a deal..As long as both parties are fair
There should be a season.. With all the economic problems in this country no one wants to hear about NFL/NBA lockout.
Indeed, nobody will feel bad for NBA players who get locked out, not with the salaries they make. However, like with the NFL’s labor impasse, plenty of non-players will be affected, as arenas won’t need workers, salespeople will have nothing to sell and restaurants won’t have people coming in before or after games.
But, just because Dudley (and countless others, probably) feel bad about what is going to happen does not mean it won’t, and all indications point to a prolonged lockout, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the 1998-99 season was reduced to 50 games.
