Jim Boylan turns down Phoenix Suns job

The Phoenix Suns were looking to hire Jim Boylan to help bolster their defense, but they’ll need to move on to their next choice.
Boylan who has been an assistant coach for the Bucks for the past three seasons has turned down an offer to become the Suns defensive coordinator and will return to Milwaukee next season.
Boylan received a lot of the credit for the Bucks defensive turnaround last season and would have been a welcome addition in Phoenix as the Suns had the second worst defense in the league last year, allowing just under 106 points per game.
Although Boylan declined the offer in Phoenix, the Suns will continue to look for help as they try to reinvent themselves on the defensive end of the court.
