Will Suns trade Nash before it’s too late?

Dec 1, 2011, 12:39 AM | Updated: 12:39 am

Entering the final year of his contract, Suns point guard will be the center of trade rumors all year until something happens.

Despite Suns President Lon Babby’s numerous denials that Nash will be traded, Arizona Sports 620’s Ron Wolfley thinks that this will be the season Nash will finally be dealt.

“Steve Nash probably is going to be traded, that is the professional side of it,” Wolfley said. “If you’re a general manager it is your job to do what? Rebuild the Phoenix Suns.”

There seems to be split camps on what to do with Nash. Either trade the aging point guard before he inevitably leaves via free-agency, or keep him and sign him and watch the all-time great finish his career as a Sun.

Doug and Wolf noted that the Suns will have plenty of cap room for the 2012 free agency period.
