Watch this dude lose his mind (and beer) after getting a D-backs HR ball

Apr 24, 2018, 7:53 PM | Updated: 7:55 pm

Baseball fans love catching baseballs when they get hit into the seats.

The moment of catching the ball is great, but getting the ball after it has landed is still pretty cool anyways.

That creates a bit of an awkward scramble when a ball lands in-between a group of people where no one is sitting.

That happened Tuesday night when Daniel Descalso homered to right in the eighth inning in a rainy Philadelphia against the Phillies.

Once the ball landed, the scramble was not shown but must have happened, as the camera panned back to a fan on his knees just bending over to get the ball.

With a can of beer in one hand and the ball in the other, he emphatically raised both in celebration.

That led to some serious spillage of the beer and the man decided that was good enough to pour the rest of the beer over his face.

Credit to the woman behind him for recognizing his accomplishment and celebrating with him as well.
