Larry Fitzgerald signs giant mural created by Peoria students

A mural of Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald got one last tweak on Wednesday.
It received a signature, not of the artist, but of Fitzgerald himself.
The piece, created by an art class taught by Matthew Glover at Peoria High School, measures 20 feet by 16 feet and is set to be displayed at a local St. Vincent De Paul location, according to a district arts education Twitter account.

“To Peoria High School,” wrote Fitzgerald during a visit to the school. “Thank you for the amazing painting. Your skill is truly special. I wish you all continued blessings. – Fitz.”

The 34-year-old Fitzgerald will return for 2018 to play his 15th NFL season in Arizona.
Last year, the 11-time Pro Bowl receiver made 109 catches, second in the NFL, for 1,156 yards and six touchdowns.
