Watch McDonough, Suns fans react to winning NBA Draft Lottery

May 15, 2018, 7:59 PM | Updated: 10:05 pm

The Phoenix Suns had one of their franchise’s signature moments on Tuesday night, as they won the 2018 NBA Draft Lottery and will be picking first in the NBA Draft.

That was a moment several wanted to get on video, and luckily for us, the Suns had all the angles.

Check out general manager Ryan McDonough in the building as the reveal took place.

There was also the draft lottery party in Talking Stick Resort Arena, and you better believe it was hype when the announcement came.

Josh Jackson, the team’s representative at the lottery, was a lot more casual with a simple fist pump.

Jackson reported in live on the scene.

Bleacher Report was quick to turn Devin Booker into the infamous photo of Michael Jordan with the Larry O’ Brien trophy, except without the NBA Championship and a No. 1 spot instead.

You can also see the reaction live in the lottery process itself with the ping-pong balls. Team CFO Jim Pitman got a fist pump of his own in hearing the news.
