Ron Wolfley is among the nominees to be inducted in the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame’s 2018 class.
The former Arizona Cardinals fullback and current co-host of the Doug & Wolf show on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station joins a prestigious class that is up for induction via a public vote.
Arizona Diamondbacks CEO and president Derrick Hall, late Arizona baseball coach Jerry Kindall, former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner, former D-backs first baseman Mark Grace, former Suns big man Tom Chambers, ASU legend Pat Tillman, Cardinals president Michael Bidwill, new Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer and ASU golf product Phil Mickelson are among the other names on the list of candidates.
A board of trustees will elect no more than four new members of the 2018 class, and one more inductee will be determined by the public vote.
Voting can be done online here. Voters can select as many nominees as they desire but cannot vote for a nominee more than once.
The voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on May 27 and the class will be announced June 4.
An official induction ceremony will take place on Nov. 1.
Last year, Cardinals owner Bill Bidwill, former Arizona Republic columnist Paola Boivin, former Coyotes captain Shane Doan, former Suns star Dan Majerle and ASU wrestling product Anthony Robles were inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame.
