ASU, Arizona football teams will debut with national TV games in 2018

Arizona State and Arizona will debut their new head coaches on national television in the first two weeks of the 2018 college football season.
The Pac-12 nonconference television schedules and kickoff times were released Wednesday, revealing that ASU and UA will be featured early on.
Under first-year coach Herm Edwards, the Sun Devils will open Saturday, Sept. 1, at home against Texas-San Antonio on FS1. The Wildcats and head coach Kevin Sumlin debut the same night on ESPN while hosting BYU.
ASU then hosts Michigan State on Sept. 8 in a game that will be aired on ESPN.
Arizona also plays that Saturday but makes an early morning visit to Houston. That game will appear on either ESPN2 or ABC.
The Sun Devils wrap the nonconference schedule Sept. 15 at San Diego State for a CBS Sports Network game, while the Wildcats host Southern Utah on Pac-12 Network.
