The Arizona Cardinals have signed wide receiver Greg Little and released wide receiver Cobi Hamilton.

Little, 29, last played in the NFL in 2014. He has four seasons of NFL experience, first for three years with the Cleveland Browns before a season with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Little was a second-round pick by the Browns (59th overall) in 2011 after a college career at North Carolina. He has since recorded 54 NFL appearances (42 starts), putting up seasons with 709, 647, 465 and 69 yards, in that order. He has eight career touchdowns.

He visited the Cardinals earlier this week.

“Just an opportunity once again to see him live, see what he can do,” head coach Steve Wilks said Wednesday, regarding the visit. “I think he has tremendous talent, but most importantly right here, is just a chance for him to be able to step up and see what we can do with him.”

The Cardinals will release Hamilton to make room for Little. Hamilton was claimed off of waivers by the Cardinals in March after the Houston Texans released him a day prior.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Hamilton has 18 career catches for 242 yards and two touchdowns.

In addition to releasing Hamilton, Arizona also released linebacker Frank Ginda.
