The Arizona Coyotes completed their second trade of the day Thursday.

The team announced it acquired forward Adam Helewka from the San Jose Sharks for defenseman Kyle Wood.

Helewka, 22, scored 9-29-38 in 63 games with the Barracuda last season. He has totaled 23-45-68 in his 124-game career with the AHL Barracuda team. The left-handed shooter was drafted by the Sharks in the fourth round in 2015.

He tweeted at the Coyotes shortly after the trade became official.

Meanwhile, the Coyotes gave up Wood, a 2017 AHL All-Star who scored 17-45-62 over 119 games with the Tucson Roadrunners and Springfield Falcons.

Wood also won the hardest shot competition with a 99.3 mph blast.

He was initially acquired by the Coyotes in a February 2016 trade. The Avalanche traded Wood, Alex Tanguay and Conner Bleackley to Arizona for Mikkel Boedker.

Earlier today, Arizona completed a trade involving different prospects. The team traded forward Mike Sislo and defenseman Brandon Hickey to the Buffalo Sabres for forward Hudson Facshing.
