It has been quite a month of June for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Through 13 games, the team is 10-3 and the offense has gone from the worst in Major League Baseball to one of the best in the first-half of the month.

As a team, they have scored 92 runs, the most in baseball and 20 more than the team in third, the Houston Astros.

Here are five of the most eye-popping stats from the team’s scintillating offensive start to June.

.367

Perhaps the most impressive part of the team’s offense this month has been three players catching fire together.

Looking at the D-backs’ leaders in at-bats for the month of June, three of the top four are hitting at least .367.

In 42 at-bats, Ketel Marte is hitting .405. David Peralta checks in at a .367 batting average in 49 at-bats while Paul Goldschmidt is at an absurd .442 batting average in 52 at-bats.

Marte (five) and Goldschmidt (six) each have at least five doubles and all three have hit at least one triple.

40

Extending on that trio, if you take a look at the 175 players who have at least 40 plate appearances in June and rank them by OPS, those three D-backs rank second, fourth and fifth.

Only Max Muncy’s OPS of 1.493 for the Los Angeles Dodgers is higher than Goldschmidt’s 1.467 number.

3

Examining those same qualifications, Marte is the only hitter in baseball to have at least three triples for the month of June. He now has seven on the season, tied with the Chicago White Sox’s Yolmer Sanchez.

14

Only two players in MLB have at least 14 runs scored in the month of June: Goldschmidt and Marte. Goldschmidt now ranks 11th in all of baseball in runs scored despite his slow start.

7

In 13 games, Peralta has hit seven home runs, tied with the Baltimore Orioles’ Chris Davis for the most in June. Peralta is now at 14 total on the season, which is three shy of his career-high 17 in 2015.
