Taking in the Washington D.C. sights and statues, MLB incorporated both the Washington Monument (American League) and the Capitol Building (National League) into this year’s uniforms.
Players will don not one, but two hats during the weekend as well as two different pairs of socks. They will wear the different combinations during the “Workout Day” and All-Star Game.
The Workout Day hats show the team’s color with three stars on each side of the brim, the All-Star patch and stars along the main logo, while the socks feature the Capitol Building.
On July 17, players will sport a new cap and sock combo.
Players will rock a three-panel hat, while the socks represent the stars and stripes of the flag.
The festivities officially begin on July 14.
