Despite World Cup action occurring across the globe, Phoenix Rising FC forward Jason Johnson scored what may have been the goal of the night Saturday.
At the 42-minute mark against the Tulsa Roughnecks, he received a cross in the box.
Johnson went airborn.

The scissor kick was a thing of beauty. It was Phoenix Rising’s second goal in four minutes to break open the game en route to a 3-0 shutout.
Want another angle? We do too.

The goalie had no chance of stopping it.
He watched it sail in to his right, and then looked back in the direction of where Johnson kicked it.
We probably would’ve done the same.
