Mississippi State fan’s wife’s boyfriend helps pay for trip to CWS

Jun 20, 2018, 10:27 AM | Updated: 12:44 pm

Rain delays have marred this year’s College World Series. But Tuesday a hilarious interview with a Mississippi State fan helped lift spirits during the delay.

Terry Powell received some help for travel expenses to see the Bulldogs play in Omaha from an unusual source.

“The sacrifices that we personally made to be here are incredible,” Powell told KMTV Omaha. “My wife’s boyfriend sold his prosthetic leg on Craigslist to afford me the opportunity to be here, but they get alone time and I get to be in Omaha.”

Powell is quickly becoming a sensation for how he was able to get to Omaha, as well as his support of his wife having a boyfriend.

Fortunately for Powell, the Bulldogs have won their first two games and are in the driver’s seat to reach the finals.

Unfortunately, it leaves Powell’s wife more time to spend with her boyfriend.
