Suns will host NBL’s New Zealand Breakers in 2018 preseason

The Phoenix Suns’ 2018 preseason schedule has not been released yet but it will include one unique opponent.

On Oct. 3, the Suns will be taking on the National Basketball League’s New Zealand Breakers at Talking Stick Resort Arena.

This makes it two years in a row Phoenix has hosted an NBL team. Last year, they beat the Brisbane Bullets during the 2017 preseason.

The Suns join five others teams that will be taking on an NBL team during the preseason That includes a matchup of the Los Angeles Clippers and the Sydney Kings in Hawaii on Sept. 30.

The seven total games mark the most games the NBA has had on the preseason schedule against an international league.
