The Phoenix Suns have lost out on another free agent guard
they coveted.
According to ESPN.com, Mayo and the
Dallas Mavericks have agreed to terms on a multiyear deal.
The details of Mayo’s contract were not yet known.
O.J. Mayo broke the news himself via Twitter Monday night.

Mayo had met with the Suns over the weekend but the two teams
were far apart on price. The Suns didn’t make Mayo an
offer during the visit.
The 6-foot-4 shooting guard came off the bench for the
Memphis Grizzlies the past two years. In 2011-12, Mayo
averaged 12.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 66 games.
