Marshall’s Summer League debut a rough one

The Phoenix Suns got their first look at first round draft
pick Kendall Marshall Tuesday night — and let’s just say
the very early results were underwhelming.
The former North Carolina Tar Heel handed out five assists
and turned the ball over five times in 28:43 of playing
time. Marshall took one shot — and it was an air-balled
three-pointer in the Suns’ 89-74 loss to the Cleveland
Cavaliers.
The Suns, who were led by Markieff Morris’ 24 points, 17
rebounds and six blocked shots, take to the court again
Wednesday against New Orleans.
Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Thomas and Mack
Center in Las Vegas.
