Don’t look now, but it seems like a couple first-round draft picks in Arizona are becoming friends.
On Sunday, the Phoenix Suns’ No. 1 overall Deandre Ayton threw out the first pitch of the Arizona Diamondbacks game. On the receiving end was Archie Bradley, a 2011 first-round pick for the D-backs.
The Suns shared photos of them together after the game.

In the first picture, Bradley is helping Ayton with his windup. It’s all very bromantic.
The 7-foot-1 basketball star may not have taken the pitcher’s advice, as he didn’t quite fully extend on the throw.
With that said, the photo with the low angle from the back made for a great shot.
The cheers, the windup and…

The pitch was near the plate, at least close enough for Bradley to frame it on the corner, though an umpire may be able to see through that tactic.
On Tuesday, the Coyotes’ first-round draft pick, Barrett Hayton, will throw out the first pitch.
