Cardinals fans love Larry Fitzgerald. They believe David Johnson will return with a vengeance from a wrist injury suffered a year ago.
But when it comes to what’s getting them amped for training camp, it seems all the excitement stems from the unknowns.
There are a lot of unknowns at quarterback heading into the 2018 season.
The quarterback storylines were the hot topic throughout Cardinals camp, as 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Andy Greenberg found out. Greenberg visited University of Stadium during camp to find out what players and stories were of interest in the minds of Arizona fans, and a large majority were excited to get the first glimpses of quarterbacks Sam Bradford and Josh Rosen.
With Carson Palmer retiring, the Cardinals shelled out to see if Bradford can make an impact after missing almost all of the 2017 season due to a knee injury.
Then, Arizona moved up in the draft to select Rosen 10th overall. He could use some seasoning, most fans agree, but preseason signs of success of course could change the narrative about the Cardinals’ chances this year and beyond, especially if fears of Bradford’s health end up becoming justified.
Greenberg caught up with a few fans to gauge their interest in the quarterback depth chart and beyond.
Unsurprisingly, there were a few disagreements about who should start and which player will shine.
