A member of the Reno Aces’ staff must have felt like they forgot something on Friday night but couldn’t figure out what it was until it was too late.
The D-backs’ Triple-A affiliate faced the Albuquerque Isotopes, but had to find an alternative solution when their hats weren’t with them for the road trip.
That alternative solution was wearing the Isotopes’ hats.
Hey @Aces – nice hats! We like them better without the tape though… pic.twitter.com/vNGKhlCLwp

The Aces’ road jerseys actually have some red accents throughout, so the color matchup isn’t as bizarre or odd as you might expect.
In an absolute power move, it appears that Chris Owings taped over the logo with a drawn version of the Aces logo.

There’s no word yet from the Aces as to why they were put in this position, but the social media team is having fun with the moment.
