Cardinals’ Tre Boston is adjusting to that desert life

New Arizona Cardinals safety Tre Boston grew up in Florida and went to college in North Carolina.
Before signing with Arizona this offseason, he played in Charlotte and San Diego. Deserts are new to him, and that hit home for Boston on Monday night.
Not only was that 100-degree temperature getting to him — one of those poisonous critters that Arizona locals have gotten used to made an appearance.
Arizona, I need y’all help. I killed my 1st baby scorpion in my crib this morning. Didn’t even think it was real until I remember I’m in AZ 1. Does this happen often? 2. What do y’all do with pets? 3. Are these things just outside like Ants? How they get inside? 🦂#DesertProblems

Here is advice more about relationships than scorpions.
My ex boyfriend killed one and burned it and then taped it to the back door “as a warning to others that may want to come in”. I don’t think it worked but now we are broken up and it was probably a good warning sign for me so…

No bed skirts. Keep sheets off floor. Invest in a uv light. You’re in AZ, everything tries to kill you!

And here’s a reminder that sometimes the scorpions just win.
I just found one in my son’s room today. And was stung by one a week ago in our garage. We get sprayed by pest control monthly too. We live by a canal and lots of trees/shubbery. Our pets have never been stung. Good luck, welcome to AZ and Go Cardinals ❣️
