It’s time for college football in Tempe.
ASU’s Sun Devil Stadium is finally renovated ahead of Saturday’s game against UTSA at 7:30 p.m.
“The upgrades are significant and I think our fans and certainly our student athletes will enjoy it very much,” ASU Vice President of Athletics Ray Anderson said on Friday.
With a new stadium comes new regulations and updates.
Here’s what you need to know:
There is a newly-built pitchfork statue located outside the Southeast gate.

Fans now will not be allowed back into the stadium once they leave, in the stadium’s new no re-entry policy.
The stadium continues to stress its clear-bag policy. Only clear 12x6x12 inch bags are allowed in or a 1-gallon plastic bag. Fans are also allowed to have small clutches.
Before entering, there will be electronic screening for security purposes.
All entrances of the stadium will now be open on game-day, allowing fans to get to the main concourse from all sides. The College Avenue entrance is discontinued for fans this year as well.
The $307 million renovation also includes an expanded concession offering beer and wine in all areas except for the south end zone behind The Inferno student section.
Fans needing cart assistance can head to the Northwest entrance for access.
Other than ASU home games, another professional league — the New Alliance of American Football — will play five games at the stadium February. Non football events such as concerts are booked at Sun Devil Stadium already for the upcoming months. Events are listed on the ASU 365 Community Union’s website.
And then there’s the new video board located at the north end, rumored to be the largest in college football. But ASU’s president of athletics has only one interest regarding that.

“As long as it’s larger than the school down south — and it is — by one foot i think in each direction, believe that or not,” Anderson said on Friday.
He said that was by design.
