D-backs recall RHP Jake Barrett from Triple-A Reno

The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled right-hander Jake Barrett from the Triple-A Reno Aces on Wednesday, giving the team a total of 36 players on the active roster.
The move follows a 9-1 loss on Tuesday for the D-backs in which they used five relievers.
Barrett, 27, was last recalled on Jun. 20 before he was optioned again four days later.
He posted a 2.87 ERA with four wins and eight saves with the Aces this season. In the last 10 appearances with the Aces, Barrett had nine strikeouts and two saves in 10 innings pitched.
In five appearances with the Diamondbacks this season, Barrett has a 5.06 ERA with five strikeouts.
The D-backs drafted Barrett out of Arizona State in the third round in the 2012 MLB Draft before his Major League pitching debut in 2016.
