Five-star forward Josh Green committed to Arizona on Thursday over Twitter.
Green, an Australian from IMG Academy (Fla.), is 247 Sports‘ No. 3 forward in Florida and the No. 10 player nationally.
He chose Arizona over Kansas, North Carolina, UNLV, USC and Villanova.
The 6-foot-6, 190-pound small forward joins five-star Nico Mannion and three-star center Christian Koloko as the current members of Arizona’s 2019 class.
In Green, the Wildcats got an athletic commit who can throw down dunks and has a soft shooting stroke.
He pairs well with Mannion, a gifted shooter and passer who already has international experience in Italy and is 247 Sports’ top point guard in his class.
Green and Mannion have already played together: They teamed up on the 2018 West Coast Elite 17U Under Armour All-America roster, where Green was a frequent recipient of Mannion’s alley-oop passes.
Arizona’s 2019 class looks to be markedly better than that of the previous year. The 2018 group was the first Arizona class since 2010 to not get a single five-star recruit. Made up of a trio of four-star athletes without any five-stars, it was ranked No. 22 overall by 247 Sports.
With the addition of Green, Arizona sits at No. 8 overall in the 2019 rankings. The Wildcats join USC, Kentucky and Florida as the only three schools to have multiple five-star commits as of Thursday.
