With three swatted passes at the line of scrimmage in the first quarter, the Arizona Cardinals defensive line is giving Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins fits trying to find his receivers down the field.
The defensive line received a boost this week with the return of Robert Nkemdiche and Markus Golden and their impact could be spotted in the first quarter of the game on Sunday.
With the attention on Nkemdiche, Golden and Week 5 NFC Defensive Player of the Week Chandler Jones, Benson Mayowa was able to get his paw on two of Cousins pass attempts keeping the Vikings pass game off rhythym.
Pressure from Mayowa also forced Cousins into an interception by Tre Boston early in the second quarter.
For Boston, it was his third interception in the last four games.
Unfortunately it has not slowed down the running game as Latavius Murray found paydirt for the Vikings first rushing touchdown of the season.
Defensive tackle Corey Peters also got in on the action in the first quarter with with a sack.
