Arizona State receiver and return man N’Keal Harry was named Thursday as a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award, an honor given to college football’s most versatile player.

He joins Louisiana-Monroe receiver Marcus Green, Penn State receiver K.J. Hamler, Purdue receiver Rondale Moore and Michigan State running back Connor Heyward on the list of finalists.

Harry is the second ASU finalist in the nine-year history of the award after running back Marion Grice made the cut in 2013.

Through nine games in 2018, Harry has made an impact in the Sun Devils’ passing and return games.

The junior has made 55 receptions for 828 yards, averaging a career-best 15.1 yards per catch. He’s taken seven punt returns for 157 yards, including a 92-yard touchdown two weeks ago against USC. Harry even has a rushing touchdown this year.

He is averaging 110.7 all-purpose yards per game.

With three games left on the regular season schedule, a strong finish to 2018 could give Harry career highs in receiving yards, surpassing the 1,142 he compiled as a sophomore. The 6-foot-4 receiver has already set a career high with 11 total touchdowns.
