There’s strong movement in Doug & Wolf’s Week 12 NFL power poll, no surprise considering the Los Angeles Rams took down the electric Kansas City Chiefs in the highest-scoring Monday Night Football game in history.

Don’t let that game, however, distract you from the fact that the New Orleans Saints were already heavy favorites in last week’s power poll and only put a 48-7 drubbing on the Philadelphia Eagles this past Sunday.

Doug Franz didn’t let that distract him. He was the only one holding out on the Saints last week but gave them their due by dropping Kansas City from first to fourth this week.

Ron Wolfley, however, saw things differently. He had New Orleans first in his previous poll but was mighty impressed by Los Angeles’ 54-51 win. Wolf bumped the Rams from third in last week’s rankings to first this week.

And Doug & Wolf got a special pollster this week. NFL insider John Clayton joined the show Wednesday and led his top five power poll with the Saints, followed by the Rams and Chiefs.

For once, everyone who took part agreed: The three top teams were joined, in different orders, by the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers for what’s a clear top-five.
