Arizona basketball began the season unranked, but coach Sean Miller is gearing up for a big 2019-20 season for his program.

Four-star power forward Zeke Nnaji from Minnesota has committed to Arizona next season, making the Wildcats the No. 1 recruiting class in 247Sports’ rankings for 2019. He’s ranked No. 35 in the class of 2019 by 247Sports.

Joining Nnaji is five-star recruits Nico Mannion and Josh Green, four-star guard Terry Armstrong and three-star center Christian Koloko.

Nnaji, chose Arizona over offers from some of the leading recruiting schools, including Pac-12 conference rival UCLA.

The Wildcats are currently 4–2 with losses from ranked teams in Gonzaga (3) and Auburn (6). They were picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 preseason poll. Arizona earned 205 points and one first-place vote. Rival Arizona State earned 165 points to come in sixth place in the poll.
