The injury bug returned for Arizona Cardinals’ safety Budda Baker on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
Baker was removed from the game late in the first half after injuring his knee. He was taken to the locker room and was questionable to return, per the FOX broadcast.
Baker returned for the Cardinals’ first defensive possession of the second half.
The safety had missed the previous two games with a knee injury, the first two games Baker has missed in his career.
Leonard Johnson took Baker’s place in his absence.
Despite Baker’s injury, it was a good first half for the Cardinals defense against Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers’ only touchdown came on a fourth down pass to Davante Adams.
The other first half score was a late first half field goal following Baker’s departure.
