The Arizona Cardinals are promoting wide receiver Jalen Tolliver from the practice squad, reports 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s John Gambadoro.
Tolliver played at Arkansas-Monticello in college and caught 192 balls for 3,168 yards and 39 touchdowns. In his 2017 senior season, Tolliver had 67 receptions for 1,109 yards and 16 touchdowns.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound receiver went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft.
In the preseason, Tolliver had four catches for 94 yards.
On Monday, the Cardinals announced rookie wide receiver Christian Kirk was being placed on injured reserve due to a broken foot.
Kirk leads the Cardinals in receiving yards with 590. Through 12 games, Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald are the only two Cardinals with at least 40 catches. Kirk, Fitzgerald and David Johnson are the only three players on the team with more than one receiving touchdown.
