Phoenix Suns head coach Igor Kokoskov said Wednesday that shooting guard Devin Booker and small forward T.J. Warren will miss the team’s road game Thursday against the Portland Trailblazers.
[Booker and Warren] are both out versus Portland,” Kokoskov said. “They will likely be out for the back-to-back.”
Booker remains out indefinitely after he re-aggravated a hamstring injury on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Warren has missed the team’s past three games with right ankle soreness.
Booker (23.5 points per game) is the Suns’ leading scorer while Warren (17.7 points per game) is the team’s second-leading scorer.
Kokoskov hopes that at least one of the two can return to practice by Sunday.
“It’s up to them how they feel,” Kokoskov said.
The Suns (4-20) struggled on Tuesday against the Sacramento Kings in their first game without the two.
They were outscored 36-9 in the first quarter trailed 99-67 after three quarters.
Following Thursday’s game, the Suns return home Friday against the Miami Heat.
