The Arizona Coyotes announced Monday the signing of forward Nathan Schnarr to an entry-level contract. The terms of the contract weren’t disclosed.

Schnarr, 19, was a third-round pick by the Coyotes (75th overall) in the 2017 NHL Draft.

Schnarr currently plays for the OHL’s Guelph Storm and has 15 goals and 25 assists for 40 points in 26 games this year. Last season, he had 39 points in 57 games for the Storm.

Because Schnarr is 19 years old signing his entry-level contract, the contract is three years in length, as stipulated by the NHL’s collective bargaining agreement.

Schnarr was part of a Coyotes 2017 draft class that included Pierre-Olivier Joseph, Filip Westerlund, Mackenzie Entwistle, Cameron Crotty, Noel Hoefenmayer, Michael Karow, Tyler Steenbergen and Erik Walli Walterholm.

Joseph and Steenbergen are already on entry-level deals, per CapFriendly.
