NBA unveils ‘Earned Edition’ uniforms for 16 playoff teams

The Miami Heat took the team’s Miami Vice-inspired jerseys to the next level on Wednesday when they officially released their NBA “Earned Edition” uniforms along with 15 other teams.
All 16 teams made the postseason in 2017-18.
The Heat’s color-scheme was one of a few extremes. That’s because, as ESPN’s Zach Lowe reported, the team took on the project of designing the jerseys itself as other teams accepted the initial designs sent to them by Nike.
Miami wasn’t the only team deviating from their traditional colors.
The Minnesota Timberwolves went with an electric purple-on-white look, and the Milwaukee Bucks went with an old-school color palette tipping the cap to the MECCA-Era squads of the late 1970s to early 1990s.
