Phoenix Rising FC, coming off its best season in franchise history, has set a date for its 2019 home opener.

Rising will face USL debutant New Mexico United on March 16, 2019, at 7:30 p.m.

The club will open the season on Nov. 9 on the road against San Antonio FC.

Rising won its first Western Conference championship in 2018 before losing in the USL Cup final to Louisville City FC.

Club owner and legendary forward Didier Drogba announced his retirement from playing following the season, but several key players return for 2019.

Season tickets for Rising’s 17-game home schedule can be purchased for as little as $15.99 per month through the team’s official website, PHXRisingFC.com.
