The Arizona Coyotes have recalled 23-year-old forward Michael Bunting from the Tucson Roadrunners on Friday.
Bunting has scored one goal with the Coyotes this season. His lone goal came in his NHL debut against the Boston Bruins on Dec. 12.
He played in three games for the Coyotes before being assigned back to the AHL on Dec. 17.
Originally drafted in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Bunting spent four seasons in the AHL with the Roadrunners and Springfield Falcons.
He has accumulated 53-61-114, 164 PIM and a +24 +/- rating in his AHL career.
This season, Bunting was second on the Roadrunners with 18 points in 20 games along with 26 PIM.
In 2017, Bunting tied for the team lead in Tucson with 23 goals.
He is the first player in Coyotes history to wear No. 58.
