The first official head coaching hire of the 2018 NFL offseason is in.

The Arizona Cardinals hired former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury as their new head coach.

Kingsbury replaces Steve Wilks, who the Cardinals fired eight days before hiring Kingsbury after Wilks posted a record of 3-13.

While Kingsbury’s record of 35-40 coaching the Red Raiders isn’t alluring, his track record of quarterbacks that have come under his tutelage sure is.

To no surprise, that’s brought on a mixed reaction on social media.

Replies to the news on Arizona Sports’ Twitter have been both positive and negative.

The Cardinals are having fun with the spelling of Kingsbury’s first name by starting up a temporary rebrand.

Twitter is not overlooking Kingsbury’s looks, nor are the Cardinals.

And how about his dance moves?

There’s also the USC element of this, where Kingsbury was hired as the offensive coordinator just over a month before taking the Cardinals job.
