The Northern Arizona Suns will become the Northern Arizona Rodeo Clowns for one night on Saturday and the team released a look at the jerseys.
As expected, they are a take on the appearance of a rodeo clown. The jerseys feature orange and white stripes, purple suspenders, orange bowtie and a red bandana.
The shorts, which include the image of jeans, also include a Phoenix Suns logo and Rodeo Clowns logo.
On gameday, the first 1,000 fans will receive Suns-branded cowboy hats for the team’s Western Night. Northern Arizona will hold pregame fan activities, including a mechanical bull and clown face painting.

“It’s about being unique, fun and different,” Northern Arizona president Chris Presson said, according to a release. “It’s not just about Prescott Valley and Chino and Dewey, it’s about the western heritage for the region as a whole. And it’s not just about a nod to the past, but it’s also to the current and to the future, as well.
