The Arizona Diamondbacks agreed to minor league deals with right-handed pitcher Ricky Nolasco and left-handed pitcher Marc Rzepczynski on Friday.

Both pitchers are invited to spring training.

Nolasco, 36, first debuted in 2006 at the age of 23 for the Marlins, going 11-11 with a 4.82 ERA. He was last in the majors in 2017 with the Los Angeles Angels. In 33 starts, Nolasco had a 4.92 ERA and a record of 6-15.

The 33-year-old Rzepczynski first entered the league as a starter in 2009 before transitioning into a relief role. In 2017, Rzepczynski was 2-2 with a 4.02 ERA for Seattle over 31.1 innings in 64 appearances. He only pitched in 23 games during the 2018 season, bouncing between the Mariners and Indians.

Per the MLB Network’s Jon Heyman, the reliever known as “Scrabble” could earn up to $2 million from his deal if he makes the major league roster.
