There’s no doubt about it.

It’s a big weekend for Arizona State defensive lineman Renell Wren.

After getting measured in on Friday, the lineman got his first real taste of the NFL Combine Saturday, participating in the bench press.

While Wren didn’t crack the top spot, he still performed well, doing 30 reps at 225 pounds.

His total was good enough for fifth, tied with Washington’s Greg Gaines and Texas A&M’s Daylon Mack. Wren finished with one more rep than potential No. 1 pick Nick Bosa out of Ohio State.

Clemson’s Dexter Lawrence led the way, putting up 36 reps.

Last season, Wren made 41 total tackles, 4.5 for loss, and a sack. He also knocked down two passes. In his ASU career, the lineman compiled 81 total tackles, 3.0 sacks and an interception.

Saturday wasn’t a bad day to be a Sun Devil.

While Wren showed off his strength, ASU teammate N’Keal Harry, in his second day of drills, showed off his speed.

Posting 4.54- and 4.59-second 40 times, Harry ranked 20th among receivers.

The wideout also had a 38.5-inch vertical jump to go along with a 10-foot-2 broad jump.

On Friday, Harry made noise in the bench press, tying Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf with 27 reps.

Wren will get the rest of the NFL Combine treatment Sunday, where he is set to participate in the 40-yard dash, position drills, vertical jump and broad jump.
