Arizona Hotshots surrender first safety in AAF history

Mar 3, 2019, 9:16 PM | Updated: 9:27 pm

The Arizona Hotshots were on the wrong side of AAF history on Sunday at Sun Devil Stadium.

The Hotshots surrendered the first safety in league history when former ASU receiver Rashad Ross was tackled in the end zone late in the first quarter.

It set the tone for the Hotshots’ first home loss, a 14-11 defeat at the hands of the Atlanta Legends.

The Hotshots have lost two games in a row after winning their first two games in their history.

Thankfully, the Hotshots will have a chance to rebound and prove why they were preseason favorites to win the AAF title.

They return to action next Sunday at home against the San Antonio Commanders.
