A member of the Arizona Cardinals’ defense last year is reportedly meeting with another NFC team.

Cardinals free agent defensive tackle Rodney Gunter is visiting with the Green Bay Packers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Gunter has been with the Cardinals since coming out of the 2015 NFL Draft as a fourth-round pick from Delaware State.

In his four seasons with the team, Gunter’s recorded 95 total tackles, 8.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

The defensive tackle saw his best numbers in 2018, making a career-high 44 total tackles, good enough for 11th on the team. He also added 4.5 sacks, tying Robert Nkemdiche for second on the team behind only Chandler Jones (13.0).

Gunter wouldn’t be the first Cardinal to switch teams this offseason.

In March, defensive linemen Markus Golden and Olsen Pierre decided to take their talents to New York, joining former Cardinals defensive coordinator James Bettcher. Former Cardinals safety Antoine Bethea also joined the Giants after being released by Arizona, while linebacker Deone Bucannon headed to Tampa Bay to join former Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians.

The Cardinals, however, have added through free agency as they look to fill the defensive holes left behind.

The team has added a number of pieces to the defense, including linebacker Jordan Hicks, pass rushers Terrell Suggs and Brooks Reed, cornerbacks Robert Alford and Tramaine Brock and defensive lineman Darius Philon.
