The Arizona Cardinals inked two undrafted rookies after rookie mini-camp over the weekend, and one hails from a Division III college.

Safety Tyler Sigler from Wheaton College in Illinois will join former Syracuse running back Dontae Strickland on the Cardinals after the duo worked their way into camp. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the Sigler signing, while Strickland posted an image of him signing a deal to his Instagram account. The two signings were later announced on Monday.

To make room for the two players, the team released cornerback Ryan Pulley and tight end Jerome Washington. Both of those players were undrafted free agents the Cardinals signed after this year’s draft.

The 6-foot-3, 213-pound Sigler recorded eight interceptions, 141 tackles and eight for loss in 47 career games. Last season, he made 50 tackles, 4.5 for loss, and added a sack with one interception.

The 5-foot-11, 204-pound Strickland rushed for 560 yards on 5.0 yards per carry last season, scoring six touchdowns for the Orange.

Sigler and Strickland will join the Cardinals as they open voluntary organized team activities on May 20.
