The Arizona Wildcats received their first commitment for the 2020 recruiting class on Tuesday.
Small forward Dalen Terry announced on social media he’s joining Sean Miller and the Wildcats.
247Sports ranks Terry as the 25th best recruit in 2020 while ESPN has Terry at No. 68.
Terry, a Phoenix native, plays for Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix, where past names include the NBA’s Deandre Ayton and Marvin Bagley III.
As a junior, Terry averaged 16.1 points and 11.4 assists per game while shooting 47% from the field.
After a season and recruiting season that couldn’t escape the shadow of the college basketball corruption scandal, Arizona reloaded for the 2018-19 season with one of the nation’s best recruiting class. They will feature two five-star guards, Nico Mannion and Josh Green, along with the returning frontcourt of Chase Jeter and Ira Lee.
