Missing the sound of the Phoenix Suns on your airwaves?
Jon Bloom and Tim Kempton will bring the team back to your radio as they call the Phoenix Suns’ stream against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.
This pair will become the first announcers to call an NBA 2K20 game on the radio, which will be aired exclusively on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station at 6 p.m. following Burns & Gambo. The game will be played live at 4 p.m. MST, and fans can watch at Twitch.tv/Phoenix_Suns.
Bloom will do play-by-play and Kempton will provide color analysis.
Phoenix forward Mikal Bridges will take the controls for the Suns and will face off against Sixers rookie Matisse Thybulle.
After the game, Bridges will join Bloom and Kempton for a postgame interview to discuss the matchup.
Since the NBA has been called to a halt due to the coronavirus, the Suns have played their games on 2K and streamed to viewers using Twitch.
Bridges will be the fifth person to play as the Suns for the Twitch stream. Teammates Ty Jerome and Frank Kaminsky have taken the remote, as have former Arizona Cardinal Tony Jefferson and professional gamer Antonio Saldivar.
